Frequently Asked Questions... How do you make an image into wallpaper?
First, click on the thumbnail you want. Once the wallpaper is completely
loaded, right mouse click on the image. A menu should appear, left mouse click on
"Set as Wallpaper." That's it.
Why does the wallpaper's color
look funny, isn't it supposed to be high quality?
What probably happened is your computer is not running on true color.
Most likely, the default setting is 256 colors. On Windows95/98, click on the start
button on the lower left, then goto settings, control panel. Double click on
"Display," click on the "Settings" tab, on Color Palette, change it to
"True Color." A setting of "65536 Colors" is also acceptable.
Then click on "OK." Remember to save any work you were working on
since this type of change will need to restart your computer.
How do I submit a movie wallpaper
I created?
Make sure it is a movie that everyone knows and that it is something you
personally worked on. Then just click the e-mail button and attach the image.
If attaching more than one wallpaper, please zip into one file. It must be in either
JPG or GIF format. If it is in BMP format, it will take longer to upload as I will
have to convert it.
Will I get credit for submitting a
wallpaper image?
If your wallpaper is approved and uploaded, your name and website will be
shown next to your thumbnail. The ones that do not are work that has been completed
by Wallpaper Etc...
